Sunset Symphony...

"There's never one sunrise the same or one sunset the same."
Carlos Santana

Partaking in a photography challenge group online...
the challenge was "silhouette".

This is the pier at Seal Beach, California.
A beautiful Saturday evening, there were a lot of people walking the pier.
I had my polarizer filter on the lens...28-120mm.

ISO 400 - f5.6 - 1/800 sec.

  1. My Chieftess, that is one neat silhouette!! Thanks for the settings on your camera....that's a combination I probably would not have chosen, but it sure worked for you [even with the polarizing filter]. Even with the f/5.6, the background still has detail...

    1. I wouldn't normally use those settings either Stanley! But when I played with the settings, I kept coming back to them. It was actually much brighter, not so much color in real life. But with these settings, I did virtually no post processing to enhance the color or darken the silhouette! It just worked!
